From June 10^th through June 19^th, we explored Canada’s capital city, Ottawa, then transited all thirty-six locks of the Rideau Canal where we enjoyed the gracious hospitality of the many small communities that line the Rideau waterway. The Rideau Canal starts with a flight of eight locks in downtown Ottawa (pictured above). The Rideau Canal took us from Ottawa to Kingston, Ontario, where we said “Adieu” to Connie and Norbert.
